Northeast Georgia Dog Training & Importing Since 1975

We are located in Northeast Georgia, an hour north of downtown Atlanta, and serviced by Hartsfield’s Atlanta International Airport. Since 1975, we have trained and imported dogs for obedience, protection, tracking, and competition, bringing several hundred dogs from Europe for our clients. We started as a full-service facility for pets and competition dogs, including police and service dogs. Our owners compete at high levels in various competitions, and we occasionally accept Board and Train clients, offering consultations and limited private lessons. Under our kennel name “vom Haus Schair,” we pride ourselves on breeding German Shepherds from European working bloodlines, focusing on balanced drives, stability, and working ability. Our dogs have served owners, law enforcement, and the competitive working dog community. We produce a limited number of litters annually, prioritizing quality over quantity.

We registered our first litter in 1979, which produced quality working dogs capable of attaining the highest level of working competitions. In that litter was produced “Alf vom Haus Schair SchH III." Alf was not only a Schutzhund dog but also a certified search and rescue dog owned by John Koerner. The attributes, character, and trainability he possessed are still what we strive for today.


We pride ourselves on producing the best available working line German Shepherds. From one of our last litters (the “I” Litter), two males by two years of age have already accomplished advanced titles, with Izak vom Haus Schair achieving a “V” (excellent) rating for structure in his German Breed Survey and the titles of BH, AD, and IPO I and soon to compete in the IPO II-III. From the same litter, Ike vom Haus Schair has completed his BH and will be competing in the next few months in Germany for his IPO I-IPO III with Rienk Heersma and Isabel Schmidt. Other pups from the litter are currently in training or actively being loved family members.

Ike vom Haus Schair- is my proudest specimen produced at vom Haus Schair. Admittedly, he was too strong and powerful for me to work.


I bred him to possess old school color, old school temperament and power!


Ike’s Sire is the WUSV Universal Sieger Satoris Raiko IPO3 SchH3 Kkla. This amazingly versatile dog was in NINE Separate World Championships!


He was first place in 2014 at the WUSV Universal in Slovakia. On the same day Ike’s mother Gipsy was Fifth! He is a 2x’s Hungarian IPO3 Champion with many 2nd and 3rd place finishes as well.


The amazing part is that he was handled in these events by both the husband and wife in separate events!


Satoris Raiko is a product of his breeding. His grandfathers are Kimbo vom Kathago IPO3 SDchH3 FH2 Kkla and Ellute v d Mohnwiese SchH3 FH1 Kkla!

Irak is an amazing dog with many High Finishes in trials in Germany. He is multiple times FH2 and has numerous “V” score in Tracking and Protection. Besides being an incredible natural tracker, he is super powerful in Protection as well as biddable in Obedience.


He has lived as a house dog while successfully competing and has wonderful character, EXTREME drives and is 100% sociable with no handler aggression.


He is one of the best Zico von der Adelegg sons going over Vito vom Waldwinkel and thus WUSV world IPO III Champion Tom van’t Leefdaalhof.His dam line is equally impressive going over Yedi, Olex de Valsory,Nick vom Heiligenbuosh and Sid vom Haus Gremm.

Sirius is the total package when it comes to a working German Shepherd Dog, combining bold, extreme power with genetic hard, calm grips and excellent nerve.

He is a high‑flying dog in protection work, yet he is handled by children daily and is an easy, trustworthy house and executive protection dog.


Sirius began PSA training in December 2024 and earned his PSA PDC in May 2025; he is currently competing in PSA 1 with goals to show nationally and at world‑level events.


He is the son of our stud Irak vom Schwarzen Bar IGP3, 2017 Vice‑Sieger Landesgruppen FH with 97 points, bred to Chaka Zde‑Sko IGP1, giving him a powerful, proven working pedigree.
